What is Berean Bible Church About?

Here at Berean Bible Church our focus is on the Biblical and traditional forms of worship. We are seeking to glorify the Lord in all that’s accomplished through this church. The key focus is the Bible. In each service, the Scriptures are taught and preached by our pastors. Many ask what the word “Berean” means. The Bereans were a group of Christians found in Acts 17:11 who “received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily..” This is our desire and prayer for each person who attends Berean Bible Church. We want them to to discover what the Bible says and how it applies to their daily lives.

We invite you to visit our church. Families from across the community have discovered the joy of being a part of this growing, independent, Bible-believing, conservative, exciting, and friendly church family. In a day when many Christians are flocking to mega churches, we are looking for families with a “pilgrim” spirit who will help our local church ministry grow. If you are looking for a firm Biblical foundation for living in an ever-changing world, then Berean Bible Church is for you. If you have any questions about the church, please feel free to reach out to us!

  • Our Sunday Services are at 10 A.M. and 6 P.M.

  • Our Wednesday prayer and Bible study service is at 7:00 P.M.

What are Some Goals of Berean Bible Church?

To share the truth of the Gospel with the lost and disciple new converts.

To glorify and honor the Lord in our church services and everyday lives.

To encourage believers to live faithfully in light of Christ’s return.

To teach sound doctrine and preach verse by verse from the Scriptures.

History

Berean Bible Church Started in October of 1987. Pastor Sensenig felt the need to begin a strong, Bible believing church in Lancaster County - where he grew up his entire life. Beginning in a large living room of a modest home, the church was organized and formed for the study of God’s Word and furtherance of the Gospel. Two years later, the Lord provided land in Ephrata to place a building, which would be used for many years to come. In 1989, the building was dedicated for the Lord’s use and continues to be used for His glory. 36 Years later, Pastor Kelly continues to preach the Word of God on a weekly basis.
